Bijzonder kasteel en rijksmonument, gedeeltelijk uit de 17e, 18e en 19e eeuw. Bevat een voormalige orangerie, woningen voor personeel en een rentmeesterkantoor. Is niet voor bezoekers toegankelijk. Wandelen mag wél - met aangelijnde hond - in het schitterende omliggende landgoed, waar je waterpartijen, imponerende bomen en heel veel rhododendrons ziet.

Wat een prachtig kasteel op een uitgestrekt landgoed! Het is is nog "gewoon" in gebruik. Je kunt dus niet zomaar naar binnen, maar wandel er omheen en geniet van het uitzicht!

Das negative Vorweg. Eine Besichtigung ist nicht möglich. Das ändert aber nichts daran das Kasteel Ampsen ein wunderschönes gepflegtes Gebäude ist. Einen Besuch wert. Auch die umliegenden Natur lädt zu einem Spaziergang oder Fahrradausflug ein. Ein paar kostenlose Parkplätze am Schloss sowie ein schöner Rundwanderweg durch die umliegende Natur sind ja auch...
