Ieberenplas — Attraction in Midden-Drenthe

This review is about the kiosk at the lake, not about the lake itself. I went yesterday, looking forward to have dinner there, with vegetarian snacks, however, the kiosk owner decided to close itself "due to the heat, we are closing 15 minutes earlier". This was so unexpected and weird, it felt as if the shopkeeper didn't want to do her job. I think it's best if she resigns, and goes do something she likes, or at least don't do a job that can ruin other people's day with her...

Great place to swim. Cool, clean water in the midst of summer. Has a friendly atmosphere with many families enjoying the water and the sand. There is a place where you can buy snacks and ice. Toilets available (but usually quite sandy). The surrounding forest is wonderful to walk...
