I recently visited Tulip Experience Amsterdam during flower season, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience that I highly recommend. Located in the heart of the flower region, this place offers an immersive and interactive way to enjoy the beauty of Holland’s world-famous tulip fields.
One of the best parts of my visit was that it wasn’t crowded at all. I had the chance to walk around peacefully, take my time, and capture stunning photos among the colorful and wide-open tulip fields without feeling rushed or surrounded by too many people. The atmosphere was calm and refreshing, and the surrounding nature was truly breathtaking. The variety of colors and tulip shapes was amazing — it truly felt like walking through a living painting.
Inside, there’s a small exhibition area that offers detailed information about the history of tulip farming in the Netherlands, how the flowers are grown, and the many different types of tulips. It was well-organized and very informative — even kids would find it interesting. There’s also a gift shop where you can buy fresh flowers and charming souvenirs at reasonable prices, along with a cozy café that serves warm drinks and light snacks.
What makes Tulip Experience Amsterdam really special is the attention to detail and how well the entire experience is organized. The walking paths are clear, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist and ensure visitors have a great time.
I highly recommend visiting this place if you’re in the Netherlands during flower season. Whether you’re a photography lover, a nature enthusiast, or just looking for a peaceful and beautiful outing with family or friends — you’ll definitely enjoy this experience.

Read moreDidn’t expect anything at all since this is a super touristic place but in the end, quite satisfied. Lovely field and all the bulbs seem to be carefully taken care of so they bloom in beautiful colours although the day I went was one week before the tulip season officially ends and this place would be closed. Highly recommend to go on sunny days as the pictures would be MAGNIFICENT!!!!!
To the owner/manager: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE appoint more staff at the flower picking areas. When you buy a ticket, there are also 5 (free) flowers included at the end of the trip. However, that day when we came to pick the flowers, we saw two young ladies in hijab 🧕 (not sure the exact name of the clothing piece) were packing a huge bouquet of flowers with at least more than 20+ bulbs while the other customers are still struggling since it is almost closing time and there are not many beautiful bulbs left. I was absolutely speechless. If it was a family, I could understand but indeed there were only two of them and the bouquet was so huge to the point that they were taking extra space and time in the packing area compared to the other guests (more packing papers & tape for their giant bouquet also) :( Would be nice if there are staffs around to check on people’s tickets (ensuring max 5 per person to ensure fairness and enough flowers as well as packing tools for...
Read moreI booked a holiday to the Netherlands specifically to see the annual flower parade and visit the flower fields in Lisse. I booked the main garden (Keukenhof) and also 2 other Tulip farms, one of them being the Tulip Experience. The inside was like a museum, with an audio guide telling you all about where the tulips came from and how the farmers grew them and sold them on etc. It was fascinating to learn that the tulip didn’t even come from the Netherlands! There were some show tulips inside, in a giant fridge type container that you walked into. Then outside was the Show Garden. They have this, because unfortunately people trespass on flower fields and damage the bulbs when taking hundreds of selfies!! So the show garden makes sense. The flowers in the show garden were so beautiful, there were lots of ‘props’ around the fields to use for photographs, for example swings, a windmill, chairs etc., The ticket price also included 5 tulips per adult, and 3 per child, from the ‘indoor picking area’ so it was amazing to take home real tulips grown in Lisse. (We took them on the plane home to the UK absolutely fine, no customs issues!) If you are visiting the area during Spring then you should definitely book a visit here. It was amazing value, and a must see if you love flowers as...
