De Leughte Resort Renswoude — Attraction in Renswoude

It is a substanial site A mixture of camping, caravans, static caravans too.

Also there is an area where there is luxury set up tents/camping/glamping.

I loved the woods, the pool- there is a take away restaurant monday to thursday - You can sit down to eat on friday, Saturday at the restaurant-

Fantastic playpark for the children..

The shower and tiolet blocks were superbly clean all the time - outdoor sink and drying up area that is covered outside too.

I had easy access to water and (power supply - i didn't need to use this)

Easy to come and go from the park with our electronic card for the gates.

I was relaxed and confident that I could leave all my belongings, my car nearby - knowing there was a friendly atmosphere.

The staff were kind, understanding and made sure I knew everything to make my stay enjoyable.

Liked: Warm welcome, receptionist spoke good English. We had pitch with private toilet and shower room. Clean and warm. Well worth the extra. Being off season the site was very quiet. Had the swimming pool to ourselves on the occasion we used it. Short woodland walk which we used for the dog as part of the site. We drove to Utrecht Science Park P&R and used the tram to get to the centre of Utrecht for a city day.

Disliked: More observations than dislikes. The on site shop and restaurant were closed during our 3 night stay. The nearest shop is a 15 minute drive or you could cycle. The options for walking our dog from the site were limited due to livestock and fenced farmland. We understand there are woodland areas within 30...

Liked: stayed for two nights initially given a grass pitch at bottom of the very large site in a wooded area, the wifi wouldn't work and because it was raining and the grass was soddened we asked to be moved to the area near reception used as motorhome check in area which was paved and had water, grey, toilet waste and EHU Nice town with supermarket and couple of restaurants and a nice park is about 15mins bike ride from camp.

Disliked: above area had access to just one toilet and one shower no dish washing facilities Bit remote if...
