Middachten is a 17th century watercastle without defense features. It was build and still used as a house. One week per year it hosts a Christmas fair. You can visit the ground floor of the castle, rich in wood, paintings and decor. As extra, each room has been beautifully decorated for Christmas. In the basement is a small restaurant.
