I liked visiting the castle. I think it was lovely and I like the fact that it takes you back in time. The problem was that the pamflets and all reading are in Dutch which makes it hard for a non Dutch to understand. If you have a Dutch friend to bring along and translate for you....

You get a great view of the Castle approaching Montfort on foot. Unfortunately the castle is closed outside the Summer season and, although open, November is of course not the best time to visit the garden. I will just have to rerun in the...

Since the renovations have started, the castle has lost a lot of its nature. Now it has become more and more a commercial place for barbecues and parties, not a genuine historical place to visit anymore. Too bad, not going back...
