Renesse Strand — Attraction in Schouwen-Duiveland

A bit "sheltered" beach with lots of restaurants on the beach itself and the view of industrial pollution of Rotterdam. We were there during winter and parked our car (free from Oct till April) on the Laone side. Other than the seals beached on the island that you need binoculars to see, there was nothing else interesting. Sunset was beautiful but only from further west of the beach, otherwise it is blocked...

Beachpark, Bars, Restaurants, Strandwandern, Radeln, Segeln, Surfen usw. – alles wird dort, abhängig von der Jahreszeit, angeboten. Rein zum Baden mit Kindern bietet sich aber auch der Strand bei Rockanje an, auch dort ist ein gemütliches Strandrestaurant vorhanden. Oder bei Hellevoetsluis in ruhigem Wasser, hinter dem Damm, baden gehen.

Wir finden, dass die Wohnparks durch deren starke Frequentierung nicht den Komfort eines einzelnen Miethauses treffen – obwohl die Preise sich nicht gewaltig unterscheiden. Früh buchen ist jedoch in beiden Fällen unerlässlich.

Die Holländer reisen zwar gerne in die Berge, an große deutsche Flüsse oder Seen, doch bei schönem Wetter sind die genannten Strände in NL auch stark frequentiert. Früh aufstehen, Parkplatz und Strandplatz finden…
