Mario verzamelt al zijn hele leven stukken uit WO2. Deze zijn te bewonderen in het museum nabij Axel. Het museum stelt de privécollectie van Mario ten toon en draait geheel op vrijwilligers. De schuur waarin het museum is gehuisvest is als enige in de buurt gespaard gebleven tijdens beschietingen in de oorlog. Het gebouw is dus de perfecte plek voor het levend houden van dergelijke historische gebeurtenissen.
