Terra Maris — Attraction in Veere

Quite expensive for what it is. Garden is nice but nothing special. Museum part has vr glasses and some fun stuff, but not really interesting and mainly very small. There was a temporary exposition about the climate, which had some fun stuff in it for kids, but felt like something out of 10 years ago how it was build up and what information was given.

The woman who works at the entrance desk is terrible. There is no customer service, and she always walks away just as a line starts to form. Who knows where she goes.

And don't think if you have a year entry card that you can skip the line. Oh no, you will have to wait in line, and heaven forbid someone wants something gift wrapped, as the same person is also the shop sales person. We visited the museum with our three, 7, 10, and 12 years old grandchildren. The museum is nicely done with lots of details to discover. However, for not dutch speaking visitors it is only half of what it could be. For example, the 3D video offers only dutch speaking voice. Most of displays do not offer a choice for language, like dutch, english, and german. The folder in german that was handed to us at the entrance is a half hearted consession to tourist from abroad.
