Noordpier near Wijk aan Zee is one of the many places along the North sea coast to have an awesome time at the beach. Many seaside restaurants where you can have a nice meal. It's land facing view is somewhat disturbing, showing the chimneys of Tata steel factories but the beach itself is wide and clean. Plenty of parking space, though during peak hours you might need to walk some distance before getting to the beach. The first 100 meters the sea is quite shallow, allowing you to enjoy the waves without worrying getting too deep. And if you take the time you can be rewarded with a beautiful sunset. Please like this review if found useful. Thank you.

A very nice hike out to sea, you get amazing views of the North Sea, the Tata steel factory and Ijmuiden. Also various surfing and kiting activities on the beach. After or before hiking there is a selection of beach side eating venues and ample parking, though it is often busy and you may need to walk an extra bit. If you go to the very end of the pier at flood bring a poncho and rubber boots if it's windy, and it often is, there is a lot of spatter.

The North Peer was okay, but it's not very pretty driving up. You expect a lovely sea side but there is mostly a larger industrial plant producing steel/ metals, and some large cargo ships. The peer itself was nice to walk down, and the beach was very calm so it was lovely to just walk, but not a very picturesque location. Instead would then recommend going to one of the more popular beaches like Zandvoord or Egmond aan Zee instead.
