Belevingspad Hoogersmilde — Attraction in Westerveld

Super enjoyable trail through the forest with a nice variety of ornaments for kids to play on and with. Free parking and free entrance. The best place to park is at entrance 1 which is also where the trail starts. There are picnic tables and benches along the trail but no garbage bins to be found anywhere, so bring something to collect your garbage in to take home. Quite busy visited trail. When we were there every 5 minutes a new group of people would arrive at one of the many stops along the trail. Highly recommended...

Nice trail that will take between one and two hours. One thing we noticed when tracking the route from P1 is that it seems to skip the aeroplane (or we missed a sign). That aeroplane is close to or even on the grounds of the campsite "Reeënwissel" so be aware of that if you don't want to miss it. You may have to deviate slightly...

Een ontzettend leuk pad om met kinderen te wandelen. Als je parkeert op parkeerplaats 1, aan de weg, kun je gelijk het bos in en de route volgen. Parkeerplaats 2 ligt bij een camping. Je moet dan eerst over de camping om vervolgens de route te kunnen volgen. Er zijn verschillende belevenissen die je tegenkomt. Voor de kinderen leuk om te doen. En.... voor papa en mama stiekem ook wel. De route is 2,5 km en echt prima te lopen. Door de afwisseling zeker niet saai. En... er zijn genoeg bankjes die je onderweg tegenkomt waar je even kunt zitten. Er staan geen prullenbakken bij, dus je rommel zelf...
