This was one of two stops on a bus tour that provided working displays of greenhouses and gardens, and a guide provided historical information during the tour. There was a review of how the use of these structures developed over time and the creative methods used to maximize production of fruits and vegtables, as well as some of the old equipment used in days gone by. There is also a small museum that displays historical information on the people and equipment used. I honestly didn't know what to expect here, and as we wound our way through the tour I found myself wishing that I had gone elsewhere. The information is mildly interesting and very slow paced. Unless you are an avid gardner or a farmer, you may want to reconsider visiting here in favor of other points of interest. And what a beautiful garden they have! The flowers and fruit trees create a magical atmosphere - you walk around and enjoy the beauty. The parking is free and very convenient. This museum is a real treasure! We're delighted and will definitely come back here...
