17th century summer residence of famous Dutch Admiral Cornelis Tromp. Beautiful building with the oval room with some as absolute masterpiece. Not opened to public normally, just on certain days like the national Castle day. Keep an eye out for those dates! Free parking and a beautiful garden to walk in after your visit. A mostly...

Afgelopen weekend hebben wij met vrienden een rondleiding gedaan bij Trompenburgh. Het was uitermate interessant en leerzaam! Geweldig om het bijzondere gebouw van binnen te kunnen zien. Mooie plafond- en muurschilderingen. De koepelzaal wordt nog gerenoveerd, maar is nu al mooi om te zien. We mochten ook het dak op en daar had je een geweldig uitzicht. Dit najaar zal de tuin conform 17e eeuwse stijl worden ingericht. Naar verwachting is medio 2026 het gebouw gereed. In het huis in de tuin komt Eén...

Interessante rondleiding over de buitenplaats Trompenburg. De gids gaf veel historische informatie en vertelde ook veel over de renovatie van dit prachtige monument. Met veel zorg en deskundigheid wordt Trompenburg terug gebracht in de sfeer van toen de familie Tromp er woonde. De koepelzaal was bijzonder, ook leuk om op het dak te kijken. Wel vooraf boeken want de rondleidingen zijn heel populair.
