The best hidden gem around Amsterdam for spotting wild deer, fox and more. Lovely paths through the forest and dunes, perfect for easy hiking and to escape from busy Amsterdam. The area is used as an infiltration area for drinking water for the city of Amsterdam. Scenery changes quickly as you walk to the North Sea.

You can buy your ticket at the ticket automate, which is placed by each entrance. Price EUR 1.5 or EUR 10 if you go for an annual card. Only possible...

However, please remember to not interact with the animals and never...

You pay a small entrance fee ( € 1,50 ) and you have to pay to park your car ( € 2,- ), it is cheep and absolutely worth it. Best visited during the week.

I advice you to divert from the paved road as soon as possible for the best...
