Heaven on earth. There are numerous walks to the crater rim, with various challenges. None are very easy but ALL are spectacular. Walking up to the rim and return with four hours to wonderful town such as Akaroa for delicious meals and drinks from numerous providers makes this perfect for me. Personal favourite food is griddled fish and chips from the pier. Akaroan Salmon a must have.... Although really enjoyed...

About 5 hectares in total with walking tracks to and from the Park and road access via Long Bay Road. Walking tracks allow you to circumnavigate the Park through established and newly planted forest and open spaces with amazing views of the Akaroa Harbour. Commemorative trees can be planted by...
