#localtourismnz #russell #paihia #omataestatewinery Fantastic views. Celler tasting $7 includes Port & Vigoner wine. Flight tasting $15 includes 4 wines from Omata Estate. Platters & Wood fired pizza (thin based) are tasty (veg option available). Rose spritzer in summer is light & refreshing. Service is ok esp in summer DON'T except much since they are busy. One thing I learnt which is not on their website, when booking be specific on where or what type of table you want or they will allocate you one. If you want a table inside or for outside tables ask for undercover outside table, picnic table, bean bag table. Picnic mats (your own) are allowed provided people don't mind sitting outside when tables are not available. Bookings are essential on busy day like New Years Day. If you change booking times you might get a seat but loose your preferred seating. Windy on sunny days so keep a jacket handy. Nice place for big groups & families as well. Pickup (return trip) can be arranged a day or two before your booking from Russell (free). **15% Surcharge applies on...

If you are planning to visit the Bay of Islands, be sure to add this excellent venue to your itinerary – it is a...

After lunch, we took a stroll through the vines to soak up the scenery. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the Russell area—great food, lovely setting, and...
