Short but steep walk. Amazing views. Info panel at the bottom. I learned two key things. 1 it is resunk under the blessing of Ngati Kura the local hapu and is now an intermediate level dive. 2 the boat was named after a native American (Hopi) proverb "When the Earth is ravaged and the animals are dying, a new tribe of people shall come into the Earth from many colors, classes and creeds, and who by their actions and deeds shall make the Earth green again. Great reminder of a shocking event.

It’s kind of unsignposted, until you get to the sign.

To get to the sign, you’ve got to go through the campground.

To go through the campground, you’ve got to park down the road.

And, according to the lovely lady at the campground shop, let them know that you are entering the camp, they like to know...
