This place is simply amazing and perfect for the day out, with or without kiddies (just make sure they don't break some of the sculptures or even get lost).
There are a few different reasons to come to the park.
Hiking: Some of the routes can be quite straning, and sometimes, you can even get lost. Well worth the views. Some routes were also closed because of rock sliding.
Art and sculptures: all over the park , here are different kinds of art pieces and sculptures to look and find. Some pieces are even interactive. Unfortunately , ome pieces have been damaged, possibly by previous go-ers.
Flowers and other fauna: from orchids to maples. They had many different flowers and trees all around the park, some even themed from around the world. Unfortunately, there are not too many names by the trees or flowers, which would've helped a bit more.
Even picnicking spots are available and an amphitheater for shows.
They have butterflies breeding there, and you're even able to go into the cages on Saturdays from 9 -1.
This whole park is run on the volunteers, keeping it alive and running, and I really hope it...

Absolutely ideal for a family picnic day out or for people with a medium level of fitness (some trails & steps are quite steep) to explore the trails amongst a large variety of beautiful trees, shrubs & ground cover plants. Advisable to wear sturdy, enclosed footwear on the loose stony trails & pick up a park guide from the info board before setting out as trail signage is a bit lacking. The views are to die for at the top (refer to other stunning review photos). A bit disappointed with the lack of birdlife however judging by the numerous vermin bait stations I suspect they have a significant impact on the establishment of better birdlife. A monetary donation at the drop off point by the info board would certainly be appreciated to help in this regard. Highly recommend for a wonderful day out. Steve...
