This is a nice track but it is dangerous in places and those places are not individually sign posted. My partner tripped on the path and slipped down a bank and would have gone over a massive drop off if she had not hit a tree. She suffered multiple fractures and the Westpac helicopter had a massive challenge to extract her which through their skill and professionalism they did. Some places it's recommended to hold your child's hand as there are steep areas. Overall the trip was a good...
Read moreWe walked the loop track today. It is a genuine 1 hour walk which starts & finishes at the same place. Depending which end you start at it is quite steep at the beginning or end. Lots of boggy mud in places after a very wet February. Ordinary walking shoes will do it but something with a bit of grip on the soles will be better. For most of the walk you are either going up or down. You will get your feet wet crossing a small stream. Nice & cool 😁. Good...
