Read moreMy review is only on the dog park section of the quarry. After being in Christchurch for four years, and spending a lot of time at every dog park Christchurch has to offer, the off lead dog section at the quarry is the least desirable in Christchurch unfortunately. Not only is it unfenced, so your dog can go anywhere, but theres a lot of dog doo doo around, left behind by irresponsible dog owners. But my main concern is my none aggressive dog, has been attacked twice, on two separate occasions, so there are people that use the quarry to take their reactive, aggressive dogs there, which is a huge concern. After speaking with other cantabrians, I see and hear about dog attacks happening here frequently. So we won't be going there ever again. My best recommendation is the Prebbleton dog park. Lots of lovely responsible dog owners with there lovely dogs go there, well fenced, has play sets, and a seperate small dog section, and an all dog...

It's very easy to go down a trail and have 2 or 3 junctions come off it, and then get confused to which one you are meant to stay on! Admittedly I have only been once, so naturally, I will get familiar with the place, but it's most definitely not friendly for beginners which is a shame. Some people will get put off by the lack of signs, and...
