Your experience will vary greatly based on when you go. If it is low tide and a sunny day, this is a popular beach (mostly nude bathers) and a very nice beach with shade from the trees. At big tide there is no beach and recent tides (Nov 22) have washed a lot of the sand off the higher parts of the beach, so it has now become very rocky. At low tide it is an easy flat walk around the coast although it can be slippery on some of the rocks. At high tide you have to take the coastal track which is a very hilly...

Unique and secluded experience for those seeking clothing-optional sunbathing and swimming. Nestled amongst native bush, the beach provides a sense of privacy and tranquility. Access can be a bit of a trek, often involving a walk down a track, which might not be suitable for everyone. While the natural beauty is undeniable, visitors should be aware of the beach's clothing-optional nature before...

One of the secluded beaches on the Long Bay regional park. Can be accessed only on a low tide. It is not advisable to go there on a high tide. The views to the Pacific ocean are iconic. As per the name, the beauty blooms in the summer months when Pohutukawa trees blossom. Very nice place for relaxing and a quick afternoon getaway. Well...

The tide was low so I jogged around the coast to Pohutukawa Beach. There is a walking track if the tide is high. Sinage is not good. Just follow the coastal track from Long bay. It will take you to Puhutukawa Beach and beyond as well as give you nice views over the Hauraki Gulf. Not beach photos, But ducklings in the creek above Pohutukawa beach.

Beautiful beach. Not legally allowed but most people treats that place as nude beach. Not too many people, a little bit rocky but still nice to swim. You may reach by cost line when low tide
