That Place - Mountain Bike Park — Attraction in Manawatū-Whanganui

Just returned from an incredible weekend's stay at That Place! Tom, Louise, Peter and Flo (the resident greeter dog) thank for the warm welcome, great tips on the different tracks for biking and walking.

We were lucky enough to have the entire place to ourselves. The whole set up of this bike park has been well thought out. Brilliant accommodation available from a cabin to glamping tent to plenty of room to bring your own tent.

The fantastic wool shed is fitted out with everything you could possibly need to cook with, utensils, plates, glasses etc.

Hot showers and compostable toilets make for a comfortable stay as well.

That Place is a hidden gem that really is something special.

Thank you again guys for a fantastic stay. We will definitely be back!

Ps- hope you found the sausage we left as a wee treat for Flo...

Absolutely fantastic weekend getaway and amazing hosts! The gas heated high pressure outdoor showers were awesome as all 5 of us had hot showers, as were the loos with views, lounge to chill out in, the kitchen, bbqs, ability to have a fire and gaze at the stars and camping overnight made even better as 3 of us could use the cabin, thank you so much for such an awesome experience and your hospitality Peter and Louise! And the tracks are brilliant, Bernie Sanders and Slamingtons are defo my fave, thanks Tom!!! Cant wait to get out there again guys,...

Me and two mates were in the area for a weekend riding, and went to That Place with no expectations, and we really enjoyed ourselves. We rode most of the trails (not quite all) & loved them. Bermie Sanders & Slamington onto Slim Shady were a couple of favourites, but there's enough here to keep you content for the day. Tom was great giving us the lay of the land. When we're next up that way we'll visit...
