The drive there is definitely a highlight, even if the lighthouse is just a lighthouse. Worth the steep walk to the top for the views. Some beautiful bays along the way including a couple of each that appears to have a lot of retired bulldozers given a new lease of life towing long boat trailers onto the beach. Nice one for a day trip with the family. The route closer to the lighthouse gets a bit trickier. Stunning on a beautiful sunny day. The old lighthouse has been maintained with great care. Best spot to enjoy the water is when you spot the beach on your drive while entering Cape Palliser. Overall great...

Once you reach, you do have to climb a number of steps, but it's worth the view...
