Date night at the warriors game at Mt Smart Stadium. As far as facilities the Stadium does the job . That night it was $10 tickets , kids free what a fantastic night for families with kids to experience a night out at Mt Smart Stadium watching the mighty Warriors, evidently it's their year !!! . BUT To have the full experience the kids would want to have the hots chips , hot dogs or drinks from the many food vendors. This is when a cheap night out as a family gets expensive . $7 for a punnet of soggy chips , for $7.00 I would expect hot crispy gourmet chips with a garlic aioli dressing. No your $7 got a soggy chips . Remember how much chips you can get from your local fish and chip shop for $7 , then lock at what you get from vendors at mt Smart Stadium. Am i right in saying that the stadium gets a payment for vendors to be there . Maybe the stadium shud specify that one family special shud be offered from each food vendor like the $20 special u can get at yr local chip shop . But i guess mt smart stadium would need to take that cost or in this case the warriors would, or the vendors . The thing is when offering a great family deal remember u can have 2 or 3 kids to feed plus mum and dad, petrol to get there this all adds up when going out as a family to go to Mt Smart stadium you need to follow it through with your food vendors, the vendors offering play ground rides etc reach out to Auckland transport . . Just an idea . I know u can make stuff from home to give the hungry kids but the egg sandwich your mum made is not the same as eating the hot chips at a event. T,o get the full experience and memory of a family night out it's all about the feed you have there, the rides, waiting in line in the toilets, waiting in line for the over priced chips and the win of the game, yelling and yahooing not quite sure why we did but everybody else was. Watched this little boy 4 or 5 wearing his warriors pom pom hat who just yelled and jumped up and down , he wasn't even watching the game but when the big people got verbal about a a try he just joined it, hard out . Even when the other team scored . Lol He was having a fun night . He didn't worry about the $7 soggy chips

Lastly i would like to comment on the staff who are dotted around the Mount Smart Stadium as we were leaving before the rush, they all asked, hope we had a good night, ? See ya next time , lots of smiles and i liked that. I just didnt like yr...

Mt. Smart Stadium is an outstanding sports venue that offers a thrilling atmosphere for any sporting event. I recently had the pleasure of attending an exhilarating rugby match between the All Blacks and the Springboks here, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The All Blacks emerged victorious, adding to the electrifying ambiance of the evening.

One of the highlights of attending a match at Mt. Smart Stadium is undoubtedly the Haka performance by the All Blacks. Watching this powerful and traditional Maori challenge live is an awe-inspiring experience that resonates with the spirit of rugby and New Zealand's rich cultural heritage. The intensity and passion displayed during the Haka set the tone for the match, creating a memorable moment that I, along with the rest of the audience, thoroughly appreciated.

The stadium itself is well-equipped to handle large crowds, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees. The seating arrangements provide excellent views of the field from virtually any location, making sure you don't miss any action. Additionally, the staff at Mt. Smart Stadium are friendly and efficient, contributing to a well-organized and smooth event experience.

Whether you're a die-hard rugby fan or simply looking for a dynamic and engaging sporting event to attend, Mt. Smart Stadium delivers on all fronts. The combination of top-tier matches, a vibrant atmosphere, and the iconic Haka performance makes for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend visiting Mt. Smart Stadium for any sporting event, especially to witness the prowess of the All...

Eden Festival originally was located in the stadium but was relocated, unsure why, to the Supertop area minus the Supertop tent. So I was originally paying extra for my ticket to have access to covered seating in the stadium after back surgery and should the weather fail. And, as expected it rained, and there was no covered seating area for shelter or to rest, if you could understand what uncovered seating areas were allocated to which ticket type you could happily sit in the pouring rain. I really felt for the All Ages section, who had the younger ticket buyers sitting in the pouring rain for the entire day. Overall, it was a hideously organised event that left ticket goers such as myself in the VIP area on my feet for easily 9+ hours. Considering this was Lauryn Hill's 25th Anniversary of the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill album, many in attendance, especially for her as the last act, are no longer spring chickens!! Expecting a crowd to stay standing easily for a full 12 hours at this festival was insanely unorganised! In the food and drinks areas, poor festival goers were strewn sitting on the cold and wet concrete. It felt like survivor!! Dreadful experience, my back is still suffering a week later, never again! A huge Lauryn faithful, but the organizers royally ruined any faith in me, paying a fair amount of money, ever returning to this sadly organised event!! Big...

I've been to this stadium 4 times already this year for Auckland FC games. Getting into the stadium is easy, because there are multiple gate entries. This also means that there is heaps of surrounding streets you can park your car. Food and drink prices are reasonable, and they have multiple areas and food trucks from which you can purchase from. There's easy access to toilets, as they are all over the stadium. You can choose from seats under the shade, in the sun, or you can purchase tickets sitting near The Port. You also have the choice to watch the game from the hills, a good space if you want to stretch your legs during the game. The atmosphere is always incredible and of course Auckland FC always deliver, they're such a great team to watch. There's also family friendly entertainment on-site, if the kids ever get bored. For the first two games, they had a massive sand pit. There's always the inflatable slide as well. And just with the recent match, they had a Ferris wheel and Tea cup rides. I enjoy coming to this stadium and I've enjoyed the memories made here.

Went here for Ed Sheeran and Foo Fighters concert. It was raining both times but the grounds was good, was expecting mud since it is a field but they placed hard plastic flooring so no mud! Only issue is parking, if driving you'll have to find street parking and it's a bit of a walk to do so. However they do have train and bus services but again there's going to be queues and a bit of waiting time. They also have wheelchair psrking available pretty much by the entrance of the grounds depending on event they normally have to pre-book. They had good food and drinks stalls and lots of portaloos. Great place for a concert.

Warriors game parking was non-existent. Everyone was parking on every street or nook & crannies they could fit into on the street or local business with the risk of being towed away. Some businesses were charging $20 for parking if you got it early enough. Stadium was packed to the rims. You had to walk many stairs just to get to your seat and then attempt the whole thing again for a toilet run or for food and beverages by the time you're back you missed a good 10-14mins of the game. Ga seating was sit wherever you can get a seat even if you booked specific seats???
