Eyefull Tower — Attraction in North Island

Awesome experience for all ages. Interesting to learn the history of the railway and how it came to be about. One man's interest became a labour of love for all to enjoy and with a great team around him he has developed something iconic for the Coromandel area. I was last here 24 years ago so it's nice to see the line is finished in such an awesome spot and the station and buildings are just as I remember them. Long may it remain this way and does not get taken over by a tourist company which would turn it into something generic and expensive to visit. It's also great to see what Barry put in place when he knew he was dying and this has ensured the land remains as it is in perpetuity and his final resting place will look out over the land below and out...

This was an awesome experience. The train driver was very knowledgeable and passionate and gave us some great insight into the history of the place.

As you go up, you get some awesome sights and go through a few tunnels. The train is clearly old but very charming and enjoyable to ride on.

If you enjoy trains, you'll probably really like this, and the view from the tower at the end...
