Flaxmere Park — Attraction in North Island

Nice village park with playground. The playground is nothing amazing, but it's not bad either. It's good for toddlers and older kids, and will keep them entertained for a while. There's a decent amount of play equipment for the kids, and all in good condition. There's currently a skate park being built right next to the playground, so when it's finished it will be a good addition for teens, and more adventurous kids.

The park is beautiful with lots of trees and a nice little duck pond. There are also sports grounds at the opposite end to the playground. It's a nice place to go for a stroll, or take the dog for a walk, with good walkways through the park.

Large park with enough space to have many activities going on at the same time. Enclosed water playground, play area and bbq near Village shops.Often has BBQs and picnics happening in different locations on hot summer days. Single row of houses around most of grounds. Several exits onto roads, good paths, plenty of mature trees, duckpond. Toilets are adjacent to the enclosed playground as well as near main entrance. Other end from Village has sportsground.
