Heres a classic high speed course to go try out with the whole squad. Make sure you've got a full tank of 98 you're gonna need it. 3rd gear will usually be the sweet spot with just enough power with your foot halfway to the floor and if you're in a snail spooly boi you'll be on boost for a fair portion of the run up the Kaimai. Downhill is different you wont need to touch the throttle if you're smooth enough and those no idiots in front of you going a lame 80 round the bends. Take advantage of both lanes to make you feel like Keiichi Tsuchiya on a Sunday morning, just dont hit the back or any tourists or truckies. Also watch out for that speed camera at...

Lovely spot, nice to park and see across the Waikato. Just a thought tho with people and tourists up there. Perhaps some toilets would be a good idea. There are walking tracks around the area and closest toilets are down by Poripori and not many people would know there is one there. Could be turned into an amazing visitor spot if a little more money could be spent...

Absolutely amazing views over the mamakus looking back towards mstamata and the waikato...breathtaking....halfway up the kaimais heading towards tauranga bop...or to the waikato district..stop in for a rest during your journey and take in the tranquility...
