I was fortunate enough to book two successive days of guided tours with Jamie in Te Putake o Tawa. I've been mountain biking for 20+ years all over the US and abroad; this ranks as my best mountain biking experience. From the initial booking to the second day of riding, Jamie has been an excellent communicator and guide. The local trails are unique in that they share the space with an active, private logging company. Jamie and the shuttle driver that he works with have an good relationship with the loggers which is critical in logistics and gaining access to prime trails through their two way communication systems. Something that I didn't expect was Jamie's expertise with the GoPro. I've been struggling with getting optimal settings and he was able to fly through the preferences and get everything set up perfectly. I was really happy with Jamie's skills and assessing my abilities scaling up as the days went by. He's an excellent pacer and was able to sense how much I was trailing him, adjusting speed and following his line as we flew through the forest. I highly recommend Jamie's company; this will be the highlight of my trip to NZ.

Just rode the Whaka25 which I had to ride back to the starting point after the race. Loving the new car park on the other side of the park. Especially because one of my fav tracks of the park just pops out next to it.

I've biked all around the world and the trails here are among the best. Just don't do the dangerous stuff unless you want a free helicopter ride.

Amazing guide for my husband and myself! They were able to take us on trails that fit his advanced needs and my intermediate skills. Very fun day on the trails and Jamie helped my confidence on these new trails, making the rest of my riding in rotorua...
