The Waterlily Gardens — Attraction in North Island

As the parents of the bride, Mark and I would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to you Tracey, and your full team for a truly memorable and special wedding service and reception celebration at The Waterlily Gardens. Tracey, your management, organisation, and overall coordination of every aspect was flawless. The venue and surroundings were pristinely beautiful, and so many of our wedding guests and family members were blown away by this very unique, tranquil, picture perfect setting... complete with colourful blooming water lilies and lush surrounding gardens. From the chirping birds and fluttering butterflies, to the rustling trees and the gentle trickle of the stream, both we and our guests noticed it all. Chef Kim, having operated our own 200 seat wedding venue overseas we know exactly what to look for - and you nailed it! Both the food and food service was exemplary. The quality of ingredients and meticulous preparation and planning was clearly noticeable - thank you. Our overnight accommodation in the fully equipped, immaculate on-site cottages... soooo private and peaceful (well worth it) - we will be back. All we can say further is that as a family we scouted so many venues for this life changing event and we are so happy that Cayla and Joel chose The Waterlily Gardens. In closing, we say again to all those 'front of house' and other team members involved behind the scenes, from the groundsman to the bar staff, waiters, cleaners and everyone else.... We got married at the Waterlily Gardens in March 2019. The venue was perfect! Rachael, Evan, and the rest of the team were absolutely amazing! Rachael was super helpful leading up the big day, she was quick to offer helpful suggestions and ease our worries. The wedding day ran like clockwork, we had nothing to do but enjoy our day! We chose the buffet dinner and the food was excellent. We were able to accommodate vegetarians, allergies and religious needs while having great, tasty food. Our guests loved the grazing table and garden games. Waterlily Gardens are so naturally beautiful we didn't need much extra decor or flowers, and we were able to take stunning photos on site. The cottages are awesome. We stayed two nights and we were able to have the hair and makeup artist get the bridal party ready on site which is super convenient. Overall we had a fantastic day and a good part of that is thanks to the hard work of Rachael, Evan, and the team. I would whole heartedly recommend the Waterlily Gardens as a venue for your wedding or event. The cottage accommodation is amazing, the gardens are stunning in all seasons and Waterlily Gardens are well...

Could not recommend The Waterlily Gardens more. Tracey was so amazing and helpful prior to and on the day of the wedding. She truely made our day perfect. She made sure I wasn’t aware of any hiccups on the day 😅(Thanks Tracey❤️). Everything was well thought out and easy from the onsite bridal and honeymoon suite to the onsite bar staff, catering and preferred vendors. I enjoy how everything you need is there but there is room for flexibility within packages so you can tailor the day to exactly what you want and what feels like you. For example adding games, choices of different styling such as arch’s, tables and sign boards. And of course the venue is absolutely beautiful and perfectly kept.
