Fantastic viewpoint above Whakatane, especially around sunset. There are also views of Moutohora Island Whakaari/White Island in the distance if visibility is good. There are also views up and down the coastline. The viewpoint can be reached from Whakatane on foot or it can also be reached after a short walk from the road

1,5 - 2 hours to get to the lookout and back. Very nice place but the lookout gives limited views (or we didn't find the right one idk)
