Just had a wonderful time here! On our way up to the westside, but when something is called "The Wave", you have to stop! Beautiful river and quick path leading to 2 waves. Then we found 2 bodyboards here and took the chance to get some quick fun on the water! What a unique and unexpected experience! To whoever left the boards here for people to enjoy them - thank you thank you thank you, we'll always remember it! We fixed one of the leashes and hope whoever gets on the boards next will have most of fun!

We came across having cycled down from the lake. A hidden gem and a good reason to bring a surf or body board. Very communal feel with everyone exceptionally friendly and offering advice. One chap had dropped his kids off with a couple of inflatable rings and they were going to float down river to their campsite. Great little place.

While we didn’t jump in, this place looks really cool for surfers. Nice large parking spot across the road and easy track to get there. Well done to the local Council for providing some amenities for this natural rock structure
