Highfield Gardens Reserve — Attraction in Rodney

A quick walk and we were there with the donkeys. Remember to bring your own food (carrots, apples and silverbeet) to feed to the donkeys. Donkeys are well versed to what people mean - food!!! Gorgeous animals and it's free entry. The foal is as big as its mother, located in a separate paddock but you can still feed them through the fence (don't forget them). Excellent Reserve in Algies Bay run by Ak Council Parks. About 8 approachable female donkeys that will take carrots or apples ONLY! Safe for children, donkeys are fenced, or you can go in and mingle with them.
