This place truly left not only my husband and I, but our entire whānau mesmerised. The flexibility that you are able to utilise with the resources and space available is beyond helpful! This includes the central piece - the setting (that is if you are going for a wedding!) We were able to stay the night before and after the wedding (including the night of), and this was so perfect!! With ample space and good cost (even moreso when split between the family) it worked magic!!

I was a bit different for my wedding and everything was done at the space by myself and my family - we cooked food in the kitchen, sooooo much space to do so! And the set up for the reception downstairs and outdoors for the kids area was also set up by us. Utilising the night prior and going with the 3 day package definitely worked out best due to cost reasons mainly, but also we could take our time and there was honestly no stress for anybody (excluding my amazing and precious maid of honour- that had nothing to do with this venue though!) In saying that the issue was rectified quickly with stores less than 10 minute drive away.

I recommend this to absolutely anyone I hear who has been engaged or have a big family event coming up! Luxurious, peaceful and classy 😊 we will be back in 3.5 more years for a reunion -...

I have nothing but praise for this amazing venue! Had my wedding and also booked accommodation here last month on Waitangi Day. The most beautiful venue to have your event at. The estate is huge and scenery is breathtaking! Jess (event manager) made my life easy! Im telling you, she did everything for me, she is easy to communicate with, she bent over backwards to make my day special. And it sure was! We did have our doubts with noise but she reassured us itll be fine (esp when we had a live band) she gave out notices to the neighbours to give them a heads up of our day which iwas grateful for 😊 we had no complaints with noise whatsoever and we enjoyed every bit. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out. Beautiful art displays inside and the view from the deck was magnificent! I cannot fault these guys at all. Hi, this is a mixed bag as you'll read. Venue is stunning, with excellent spaces and beautiful outdoor areas to enjoy. It feels quite special really. Good layout for mixing and mingling with your group, and plenty of options of spots to hang out. However - the bathrooms have locks on them, these take a key to unlock if by accident they're locked (design fault and such the wrong locks for bathrooms) So, this happened to us, and as there are no keys on site to unlock, numerous calls to our contact number before a response on day of departure as there were two toilet bags in that locked room. It has taken 5 days for a courier to go to uplift mine, which is far too long. It's a hiccup, and it's not the end of the world, but these un-lockable bathrooms (from outside) could lead to real issues. Would happily use the venue again, has the potential to be a true 5 Star venue, and is a great escape...
