We cannot express enough how incredible the team at Kumeu Valley Estate were on our wedding day. From our very first meeting, they assured us that it was our day, and they were there to make it special according to our wishes. Initially, I wondered if this was just a sales pitch, as they were the only venue to approach it this way—most venues dictate how things should be done. However, I never doubted their commitment after that.

The team supported us every step of the way, meticulously noting down every detail we wanted, no matter how small. On the day of our wedding, they went above and beyond to ensure every need was met and no personal request was overlooked. We felt completely relaxed and able to enjoy ourselves, knowing that everything was being handled according to our brief.

We had additional items hired and purchased from third parties that needed to be moved and set up at different stages of the day, and even this was not too much to ask. At one point, we had an outdoor setup for our photos, and a team member was there with us, holding up extra lighting to get the perfect shot—something we hadn't even requested. This gesture took me back to our first meeting, where they promised to be there for us, and we truly felt the personal care they provided.

Another highlight that must be mentioned is the food—wow is the first word that comes to mind. Every dish was bursting with flavour and perfectly executed. In the days following our wedding, we received countless compliments from our guests about the venue and especially the food. Many of them said it was the best they had ever had at a wedding.

The facilities at Kumeu Valley Estate are nothing short of amazing. The venue is beautifully maintained, with stunning gardens and elegant indoor spaces that provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Every corner of the estate exudes charm and sophistication, making it an ideal location for a wedding. They are one of the few venues that provide a beautify indoor option for the ceremony in the event of a rainy day.

In the aftermath of the Auckland flooding, we were extremely stressed as our wedding was just two weeks away. Annette immediately stepped in as our guiding light, treating us like family and addressing all our wants and needs with the utmost care. Despite the challenges, Annette and her incredible staff exceeded our expectations and ensured our wedding day was absolutely perfect.

Our guests were equally enchanted by Kumeu Valley Estate. We visited Kumeu Valley Estate to see if it was a good fit for an Indian and Civil wedding with 200 guests in a single day. When we first met Annette and Mike, they told us that they have hosted Indian ceremonies before, but don’t do cookie-cutter weddings, and they were willing to be guided by our requirements. We left that first meeting feeling both welcome and confident that we were in good hands.

Their communication throughout the planning process and on the big day itself (11 Feb 2023) was incredible. Annette’s expertise shone on the week of the wedding when she guided us during our rehearsal and bent over backwards to get things ready for the big day.

The site looked absolutely amazing on the day of the wedding and was everything we had dreamed of. The staff are extremely professional and made us and our guests feel special throughout the day. Annette and her team worked very well with our other vendors to make sure they were in the right place at the right time.

The canapes, grazing table and dinner service was also an exceptional experience. Everyone loved the food and the professionalism of the KVE staff.
