Markovina Vineyard Estate — Attraction in Rodney

I am over the moon with our wedding that was held at Markovina. The lead up to the wedding was very easy & stress free. The communication was on point & the team was always there to answer our queries.

They have a lot of table decor you can use if you want to save on buying your own decor for the tables. They also provided the find your table sign & the unplugged ceremong sign. It's very handy & it saved us from having to do our own. The reception area is already decorated with drapes, fairy lights & and foliage, so we were happy with just adding flowers to our head table.

The wedding day itself was spectacular. We were well looked after, including our guests. Our guests were all complementing how they loved everything about the place. They were able to take photos in different areas as the estate has a lot of photo worthy spots. They loved the food & were highly complimenting the service. Even weeks after the wedding we are still getting compliments about how well our wedding went.

The food was to die for. Seriously, from the canapes to the dessert, everything was 5 star. I've been to a few weddings that have buffet dinner, but your buffet outshines them all. It was like fine dining but with bigger portions. We all loved the food.

Special thanks to Katrina & Maxine for making everything stress free. Maxine, you were amazing on the wedding day. Wherever i turned, you had a drink or food on hand ready for us. You are a great host. Even throughout the night, you were there topping up our bubbly & making sure we were ok. Also, special shout out to Rina for being there for our arrival & handing us champagne. It was great to have you be part of our wedding & seeing how passionate you are about celebrating love.

For the amount we spent to hold our wedding here, it was worth it. The service from your staff was outstanding. Everything ran so smoothly. We didn't need to worry about anything. The service is what stood out the most, so I thank you for hosting such a great wedding for us.

If you are looking for a wedding venue, I would 100% recommend Markovina. They are professional & they will exceed your expectations. I am sad that my wedding is over but I hope to be back for a family or friends wedding.

We held our wedding at the beautiful Markovina Vineyard Estate, and it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere and setting were naturally stunning, and the immaculately maintained grounds meant we didn't need to spend much time or effort on props and decorations.

The food was exceptional, and the team at Markovina went above and beyond to cater to everyone's dietary needs, including halal, Hindu, crustacean allergies, and even pregnant guests. The buffet was a hit, and we heard people went back for seconds and even thirds. The beverage selection was impressive, and the unlimited alcohol package gave us peace of mind.

Rina, Mark, and Andy, the owners, were warm and welcoming, making our wedding day a cherished memory. Our planner, Katrina, was instrumental in organizing our big day with only a month's notice. Her comprehensive planning list and knowledge of vendors made the process seamless. Maxine, who oversaw the event, ensured the day went smoothly with her professionalism and warm demeanor.

The spacious venue was perfect for guests of all ages, with plenty of room for kids to run around and activities like giant Jenga to keep everyone entertained. The picturesque water feature provided an ideal backdrop for our ceremony, and the available fairy lights and drapery options made it easy to personalize the space.

We initially had a small guest size so thought markovina wouldn’t take us but they are open to options.

They have so many vases and table decoration options which would usually be an extra cost (if hired) and a lot of effort to bring everything in yourself.

They ask you for table settings (which you can go and do well before your wedding) and follow up with you on what needs to be done. It felt almost like a wedding planner is helping you.

We really appreciated that they let us do a rehearsal weeks before the wedding.

On the day of the wedding the weather was perfect. The sunlight shown on us and the light breeze was perfect. We decided to do our ceremony next to the water fall. The trees gave cover from direct sunlight for our guest. The sound system at this venue is something else. The best I have seen. You hear the music going down the aisle and I thought I was in another world.

The canapes: I highly recommend the scallops and pork belly but everything was generally very good.

The staff are so professional. They make sure the bride and groom are fed and get drinks in between. You don’t feel like you are missing out at your own wedding.

One of the large flower arrangements broke because of the wind and the staff were so quick to fix it we were absolutely amazed!

We chose to go with the entre (salmon) and mains (beef and fish) The salmon entre was amazing And the fish main was amazing!!! They have an ice cream machine!

At the end of the dance time there are bubbles and...
