Wonderful adventure suitable for anyone who wants a bit of adrenaline. There are different difficulty levels so everyone can find something that suits them. The courses are completely safe because of a mechanism they use which makes it impossible for you to be dethatched from the main wire. This can bring a great peace of mind to the worriers. Every course is interesting and has great challenges. There are also a few 'extra for experts' parts where you can swing onto a net, hold onto a glider, swing with rope etc. At the end of every course there is a zipline which is the best part. The higher the course the better the zipline. Although I'm not scared of heights I was still a bit anxious about falling off, but once you're up there for some time you get used to it. It's all in your head. A small note to make is that it is best to go on the courses with not many people if possible. Otherwise you might be stuck waiting on some slow people who are to scared to take another step. Or worst case scenario have to be lowered down to the ground because they don't want to continue. This can take a lot of time and it's best to just go at your own pace. You don't have to do all the courses in order so choose the one with the least people. Overall great place and would recommend it to anyone searching for something...
Read moreOur kids loved this but I have to rate this activity with one star, due to our experience as the carers. The kids (13 and 14) were not allowed to climb without supervisors. Either we had to climb with them or stand under them whilst they climbed. We arrived at 1 and they wanted to complete their course. We had to follow them around the forest, looking up constantly for 4 hours and 15 minutes. There was not one area where we could sit down and when we briefly went to the toilet, some staff came around and told them not to move. They were stuck on that tree till we came back. If they had had a problem, there was nothing we could actually do, as they were btw 10 and 15m above us. There were staff walking around checking, yet they still expected us to follow them around, tree by tree. If this has been mentioned on the website we would not have chosen to come here. Standing in a forest for over 4 hours, hardly moving was not fun at all and we got seriously cold. Our necks ached the next day. This is not a good activity for grandparents. Chairs...
Read moreThere is a female staff they have here who was observing us on a school trip i was a parent helper. My nephew was stuck on a zip line and i had went to release him. (Understanding it is not allowed) so on my part i was wrong i should have asked for assistance. But before us was a white guy and his daughter and for him he was allowed but i wasn't? Keep in mind im a maori guy. She was extremely rude and after i said sorry she said "i don't care" numerous times and basically i was kicked off site and had to wait in my car for my nephew to finish his trip. Kindness goes along way and for this particular staff member you know who you are i hope you are not doing this to every brown person who comes here! Many people had come to me and asked if i was okay and said she was wrong for reacting so ridiculous. It was greatly embarrassing and i hope she doesn't work here in future because it is a great place but staff needs re-evaluation! Ruined my nephew and his friends day because i could no longer assist them they didn't want to ride anymore so...
