Bob's Cove view point — Attraction in South Island

Great view. Easy trail. The very end can be seen as a bit "difficult," but if you take enough breaks, It's very doable. Please be safe, especially if you have kids who like to wander near edges. I went when it was sunny so this view is based off of a sunny day. There are plenty of small hidden trails that break off throughout the course with also great views. There is a point in the trail where you get to the coast of the lake and you can go in for a swim. Please do not destroy my stack of rocks. If you do, I hope...

This was our main stop during our drive up the coast. We went early to beat and stay ahead of the crowds. Very cool Area to explore. When you park, there is a loop if you stay right, took 20-30 to walk and has various entrances to the lake area. If you keep walking towards the boat ramp (google map it) then you see a little more. If you keep going behind that, there is the picnic table too in case you bring some Snacks. We loved this stop, 1.5-2...

Great find. Nice walk to Bob's cove. Small carpark so get there early in morning for a park. Very popular in holiday season. Nice forna and well kept tracks. 20min walk to waters edge.
