If you are here, do spend time read the message written, on the bras. It will make time worth it.
This place does look like a simple tourist attraction, a fence with lots of bras hanging on it. But what made it interesting and meaningful is the message being written on many of these bras. Reading these kind words and the love expressed through the bra, it really made this place more than a breast cancer awareness/ donation drive.
Without those messages, this place does have a scenic backdrop. So, regardless, it's a good stop if you are passing through.
p.s. seems like someone is helping the mannequin change the bra? At least the photos posted here...
Read moreI recently came across the Cardenas Bra Fence, and it's definitely a creative and eye-catching installation. It's one of those quirky roadside attractions that makes you stop, smile, and take a photo.
The idea of using bras to create a visual message about breast cancer awareness and women's strength is powerful, and the fence definitely stands out. It adds color and character to the landscape and invites community involvement in a lighthearted, yet meaningful way.
Overall, it's a fun, iconic stop that’s both playful and symbolic. If you're passing through Cardenas or nearby, it's worth a quick visit — and maybe even contributing a bra...

Beautifully placed in the middle of beautiful valley, the fence packed with hundreds (or perhaps even thousands) of bras serves as a great reminder about the importance of taking care of ourselves and at the same time spread the awareness about breast cancer.
Many left their bras with some writings and notes on it, telling a little story and where they are from.
There is a box for donation for New Zealand Breast Cancer foundation so you are welcomed to contribute to the fight of breast cancer as well.
Happy to stop...
