A nice little walk, took me around 10-15 minutes at a casual pace. The information boards are really interesting, too which made a nice change. Such a nice little place to visit. Much of the walk is board walk with some more natural paths and other wooden viewing platforms. Would be so beautiful on a clear day. Be aware, the walk is almost immediately after the turn off from the main highway. I didn't see the DOC sign and ended up driving quite a bit past the walk...

Easy, short walk suitable for everyone. Although short, you will pass through three different vegetation zones ~ wetland estuary, tussock fields and a rain forest....
