Stayed at the lake for a couple of nights, lovely place. Close enough to Queenstown and Wanaka to be out of towns yet be able to easily visit and explore.

Nice grounds but the lake is sullied by geese and toxic runoff from the 3 golf courses nearby... Also, no camping allowed even though it refers to it being a doc camping area. Good toilets. Arrowtown...

This is one of my most favourite places ever. I take our dogs there regularly, unfortunately it's not good for swimming at the moment. When you can swim there it is 1 of the warmer lakes...
