21 February 2025, partly sunny, 16C/58F 5.3 miles/8.5km 1142ft/348M gain 3 hours round trip with lots of exploring. Plenty of parking, start the track clockwise. The 2nd bridge is destroyed but an easy crossing with low water.
Check out the falls after you walk through the slot canyon. It’s a narrow wet trail down to the creek bed but well worth it. You can get up to the falls if you have sandals and do not mind getting your legs wet.

You can also continue across the Queenstown-Glenorchy road down to 12 Mile Delta - where 12 Mile Creek empties into lake Wakatipu....
