With a beautiful landscape, walking here is a pleasure as you will never get bored. With walk paths always marked properly, there are tracks for people of all walking levels, some walks which are easier might be a walk around lake rotoiti and other, harder ones might be walking up the slopes and going into the valley. The vast range of diverse species you will find here will be exciting for anyone interested in biology and kea are often seen over the national park. This is a great place to camp as there are many facilities which are provided which will make this a great getaway for couples, families and even for going alone. There are many new zealand eels which can be found in...

You can't see and even expect the lake's existence until you get to the car park... We spent a few hours here this time and made sure we kayaked in the lake.. The best place on earth to kayak no doubt, with the waters so pleasant, wind so light and no chill in the air.. We only kayaked for about an hour but I highly recommend taking atleast half a day and exploring the whole lake...
