Rangiputa beach is a must visit if you are in Far North. It is about 20mins from Coopers Beach in Doubtless Bay. It is empty most of the time as not many people know about it. Yes you can camp over night provided you have a self-contained vehicle. Rubbish bin is also provided. There is a long drop toilet with hand sanitizer provided that is open 24 hours. Rock pools, white sandy beach. There is no gas station but a little shop where you can buy beers, pizza, ice and very basic items etc. Highly recommended.

Rangiputa beach is in the Karikari peninsula of the Northland region. It is entirely a white sandy beach and crystal clear, turquoise, blue water makes you feel like you are on a tropical island beach. Rangiputa is a safe swimming beach, with a good shallow area. The beach is close to Whatuwhiwhi, Tokerau Beach and beautiful Matai Bay of the surrounding area. A short 5-minute drive to Puheke Beach where you can surf, collect pipis or go fishing.

Fantastic beach, fishing, gathering kina, swimming and sand boarding on the dunes. Great activities and plenty to do. Public toilets at entrance where you drive around to the point. Would be good if I owned a house here to go fishing everyday. Hehehe 😂😆😁😀 one day when we win lotto. Bring the whanau and have a picnic, trust me you will love it (check the weather first though, I wouldn't want to spoil it for you)
