Lake Onslow — Attraction in Teviot Valley Community

It's a bleak place on a cold windy day, but on a good day it's incredible. Good fly fishing around the lake, pretty easy walking and a boat ramp if you prefer boating. The gravel road on the way in feels like a long grind of a trip but it is definitely worth it. Wouldn't really want to take a car tho....

Very interesting drive in, more suited to 4 wheel drive if wet. Roads are gravel and a bit gutted and corrugated in some places. Very picturesque. Easy fishing on lake, but brown trout where small and a bit light...
