In folds of green, where Auckland sleeps, A hidden gem, Sanders Reserve keeps. No crashing waves, no ocean's roar, But peace descends, and quiet pours. Through grassy paths, the gentle breeze, Rustles soft songs through ancient trees. The tui sings a vibrant tune, Beneath the sky, a silver moon. The playground calls, with laughter bright, Where children play in fading light. Swings soar high, and slides descend, Joy echoes softly, without end. A place to breathe, a place to roam, A welcome respite, close to home. In nature's arms, we find our ease, Sanders Reserve, our...
Read moreWas really excited to come bike the tracks here, but they all ended up being completely overgrown and really loose gravel, so pretty unsafe to bike on, also really dangerous big rocks at most turns of the bike tracks making it a hazard more then a bike trail. The conditions aren't great either with branches sticking out everywhere and slippery moss covering the non gravel sections.
Hopefully something can be done as I used to come here a lot when it first opened and had great times. The trails just need a small makeover and some more clear signage and it'll be...
