Gregorio Aguilar Barea — Attraction in Juigalpa (Municipio)

This is the premier regional archaeological museum in Nicaragua. What sets this place apart is its massive collection of prehispanic stone sculptures, most of which are on display at the entrance of the museum and come from the region itself. Further inside you can also get a sense of typical materials made and used in the region, including a taxidermy collection. It's open everyday except on Mondays and festive days.
