Esta playa es una joya escondida, con arena color gris muy claro (extraño en zona de influencia volcánica) y flanqueada por farallones a ambos lados y dos islas en el mar. Su nombre se debe a su forma que parece un "guacal" o utensilio utilizado por los indígenas para tomar o consumir líquidos, elaborado del fruto de árbol llamado localmente Jícaro. Este fruto con envoltura dura cortado a la mitad longitudinalmente origina el "guacal". Esta playa se asemeja al "guacal" por su inclinación y forma...
