I like that efforts are being made to improve the market, but it still has ways to go so long as development is concerned. It is sectioned in such a way as to make for easy maneuvering inorder to find what one is looking for, and where that may prove difficult, trust the hospitality of the traders to come through for you, they can be nice eh, but don't let that fool you, it's all part of marketing for them o, cos you can bet they'll surely ask you afterwards, if there's nothing you want to buy from them(and that's how you end up with a pack of toothpick you don't need).

Now to the juicy part, I was supposed to buy a Led Ring Light online, Jumia to be precise, at varying rates. It was urgent and the best offer I had was still a bit over my budget and 7days interval before delivery. I decided to go to Ariaria instead and you know what, I got a whooping 7k off of the online price, so I ended up buying 2 instead.

However, it rained the first day, everywhere was flooded! Yuck right, so you might wanna stay off on the rainy days. I had to make the journey a second time, and it was worth it.

Another thing, they always say, "be mindful of your bag! No personal experience there, just a saying. Also there's the issue of traffic sometimes, so keep that in mind.

Don't mind my amebo long gist, hope it helps...

My experience here was a mix of so many events. Not my first time here though...

You should get just about any good you want: personal effects, clothes, shoes, household items, foodstuff to a lesser extent, home appliances, the list goes on.

Cost of goods here are relatively competitive and you have an array of qualities to choose from based on your budget. If you're not a good at bargaining and dont have an eye for quality, you'll do well to shop with a market guide.

On the downside, the road network and organisation within the entire market is abysmal. Its pretty obvious from pictures online, there's either no government in the state or they're oblivious of their duties.

One important thing too, be security conscious. I lost my phone here at this visit. The thief picked calls but refused to return it. That said, go to this market only with essentials: a small phone if you think its absolutely necessary and your credit card, you can always pay via POS or make withdrawals using the POS stands all over the market. No need moving...

The reason why Aba is popular! One of the biggest market places in Nigeria, as it is an international market. The feet on which Abia state business stands. Here, you'll get any commodity you want, ranging from groceries, stationary, wares, electronics, etc. Located in the heart of Aba City and is accessible through all roads and routes in Aba. Commodities here are of moderate cost, cheaper if you purchase in bulk. The most challenging situation is the bad road network inside and outside the market area.

One of the largest market in Nigeria where you get almost all thing you can ever thing off. Should you desire any type of Hair Extensions ranging from Darling hair extensions to Chinese weavons then visit these market and your pocket will tell you thank you because good are relatively affordable in this market. However during the rains it's a no go area as flood is just every where except you know how to swim very well 🤣

Ariaria International Market is really a place to be. It's not just a place where people buy and sell, it's also a place where different kinds of trades can be learnt. This market is one of the largest markets in West Africa, and promotes to a large extent indigenous production and consumption. From fashion accessories such as fabrics, through to shoes, leather hides, and so many more equipments.
