Magic Land is a beautiful and exciting recreational park that caters to both children and adults, making it a perfect destination for family outings, dates, or group gatherings. The park offers a wide variety of games and activities that appeal to different age groups and interests. Whether you’re visiting with a small group of friends or organizing a larger gathering, Magic Land provides a fun-filled environment where everyone can enjoy themselves.

One of the standout features of Magic Land is its visually appealing setting. The park is well-designed with great lighting and shaded areas, making it not only comfortable but also an ideal place for taking beautiful photos. Visitors often take advantage of the attractive scenery to capture memorable moments.

Games and rides within the park are available at varying prices, generally ranging from 1,500 to 4,000 naira per game, depending on the type and complexity. This offers a range of options for different budgets, allowing visitors to choose how much they’d like to spend based on their interests.

It’s important to note that food and drinks are not allowed to be brought in from outside. All refreshments must be purchased within the park, ensuring that quality standards are maintained and the park remains clean and well-managed.

Magicland formerly called Wonderland is the biggest Amusement park in Abuja and is home to some pretty cool and fun rides to try in Abuja. Entrance fee for Adults is 500 naira. All the rides range from about 600 - 1500 naira per person. You have to buy tickets before you can go on any ride here. There are multiple ticket shops all around the park as well different sitting areas here.

The park has recently been renovated and they added two new rides which are the Pendulum and the Disco. Pendulum is such a cool ride and you get an amazing view of the sky. Disco allows you to dance to the beat while getting shook around. Both rides cost 1500 each. Some of my personal favourites are the Water Splash, the Rollercoaster, the Bumper Cars and Catastrophe. There's also an indoor arcade where you can play arcade games and ride the bull. There's also a petting zoo with a few animals.

In terms of food, there's a nice slushie stand which sells slushie for 500 naira and other snacks such meat pie, sausage rolls and drinks too. There's also a Suya grill which offers mainly beef suya. The main restaurant was closed and unfortunately we didn't have much to eat at all. The food is very limited here.

My main complaint is regarding safety features on some of the rides. Particularly for Water Splash and Rat Race (Rollercoaster), they need to insert seatbelts in each cart, change the seat cushions and provide raincoats...

It was fun here. The gate fee to enter is #500 with a free ride and #300 without free ride. The prices of the rides ranges from 500-1000 I went for the waterslide and was disappointed to realize it only operates on Saturdays and Sundays so that was sort of a killjoy as I went on a weekday, but nonetheless I had an amazing time here..

There are scary rides and not so scary one, there's age restrictions however to protect little kids.

The highlight of this place however is the ARCADE!!! Damn it's beautiful, has all sorts of games and challenges. There's also a forest garden in there where you can sit and chill. In the arcade games are played with tokens (coins) the coins are purchased at the ticket stand for #100 per coin and depending on the game you choose to play, you can spend 3/4/5/6 coins per round. The prices of food in the arcade are fair also.

If I could recommend rides for you based on my most enjoyed one (trust me to ride all 😂) I'd recommend a the Boat ride and the rollercoaster. Both have the most thrilling experience for me (remember I'm yet to try out the water slide and the other mighty ferris wheel as those are for weekends)

So yes, I can conclude this place is well managed when compared to other amusement parks I've visited in the past. Till my next adventure (I have to focus on...

Came into Abuja about a year ago and I’ve been to Magic Land twice. You know when you think maybe it was because it was your first time, that’s probably why you had a swell time, right? Wrong. So to test this theory, I went there a 2nd time and it was STILL AWESOME. As of when last I went there (I think November 4th 2020), You pay a ticket fee at the entry point of 500 naira. The ticket gets you a free ride, anyone at all. I would suggest you do the water slide 🥺 It’s one of the most expensive rides (about 800 naira) and it’s ADRENALINE PACKED (tho it’s only available on weekends from what I remember). You’ll also probably get a bit drenched, but who cares right??? We’re here to playyyyy I’ll also suggest you try the Pirate Ship (I cried both times I went on it) Then the capsule (If you’re prone to nausea, take two steps back from this suggestion) In all, let me leave you with this quote that my girls and I have held strongly to as our years on earth keep piling up, “You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing” Have an awesome time! And throw off all fake trappings of adulthood 😂
