Disclaimer! I stand the risk of being slightly biased as I love being at the beach! Elegushi beach was an awesome experience. As soon as we got there, we paid N1,500 each instead of N1,000 to get in(apparently they had a music show we had no interest in attending).

As soon as we alighted, we were instantly assaulted with a pungent urine odour emanating from a wall nearby, this was quickly forgotten by the time we walked to the water front.

I was completely blown away!😁 And instantly started playing in the water waves, We took a lot of pictures, played and laughed!

There were these water breakers made of large rocks that and arranged a few meters into the water, the adventurers in us decided to climb the stones to get a different view. We did and set out to cross the red danger sign ribbon( Dont blame us its called wanderlust). Then the funniest thing happened! This Agbero approaches us and says he was in charge of the beach🀣 and the clearly dangerous part of the beach we were hiking to is for Vip and we had to pay N1,000 each before going in, My friend replies "with when you jump into the water it becomes VVIP right?!!!πŸ˜‚" , hilarious banter ensued and he eventually obtained #500 from us, only for the real lifeguard/staff on duty, uniform and all to approach us shortly asking us to move out of the stones back to the shore, we did and ...(as an inside Joke), told him we had already given the agbero N3000 @1,000 each... he immediately ran after Mr. Agbero...where he was spending money he just obtained buying alcohol and marijuana. They came back together shortly and oga agbero started protesting the N3000, saying he collected only N500... staff asked him..why he collected any money at all while he kept of swearing and insisting his innocence... anyway we all eventually had a good laugh.. I also noticed a no of "bumbum shaking" video shoots going on around...

We went there with a box of yummy @krispykreme donuts which was a great idea...

I mostly enjoyed playing with the water waves... I didn't enter too far inside though.(I get mama we like me), I however saw this everly adventurous oyinbo that will jump into the water and wait for the waterwave to bring him back to the shore... this I watched in awe and total amazement from my very safe distanceπŸ˜―πŸ˜²πŸ™Œ..

It was fun to walk by the shore with the boo, the air was soft, fresh and sweet. The water view was obscenely beautiful. However, there were a few log of woods and debris here and there in the water. Would be nice if they payed attention to it..

It was a memorable and enjoyable experience and I would...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Elegushi Beach in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, and it was a delightful experience. Situated along the coastline, this beach is known for its beautiful sandy shores, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant atmosphere.

One of the first things that struck me about Elegushi Beach is its stunning natural beauty. The beach stretches out for miles, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The sand is soft and powdery, perfect for leisurely walks or simply lounging under the sun. The water is clean and inviting, making it ideal for swimming or taking a refreshing dip.

The beach is well-maintained, with clean facilities and ample seating areas. There are shaded huts and umbrellas available for rent, providing a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The beach also offers a variety of activities to keep visitors entertained, such as horseback riding, beach volleyball, and water sports.

One of the highlights of my visit was the vibrant atmosphere at Elegushi Beach. It is a popular destination for both locals and tourists, creating a lively and energetic ambiance. The beach is dotted with numerous food stalls and vendors, offering a wide range of delicious street food and refreshing drinks. From grilled seafood to local delicacies, there is something to satisfy every palate.

The staff at Elegushi Beach are friendly and attentive, ensuring that visitors have a pleasant experience. They are readily available to assist with any queries or requests, making you feel welcome and well taken care of.

One thing to note is that Elegushi Beach can get quite crowded, especially during weekends and holidays. So, if you prefer a more relaxed and quieter experience, it is recommended to visit on weekdays or during off-peak hours.

In conclusion, Elegushi Beach in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, is a fantastic destination for a day of sun, sand, and relaxation. The stunning natural beauty, vibrant atmosphere, and variety of activities make it a perfect spot for both locals and tourists alike. Whether you're looking to unwind, try delicious local street food, or simply enjoy the beach vibes, Elegushi...

I was extremely disappointed. I couldn't stop wondering how I paid so much for so little or no value at all. In my disappointment, I forgot to take pictures to back up my review. First off, we paid per head at the main entrance. My thoughts were we were not paying anything again since we paid per head. Secondly, parking is very insufficient and there's no assistance. Thirdly, access to information is almost non-existent. Example, there's no board at the gate stating what the legal fees to be paid are: per head or per vehicle and how much. Same applies at the entrance to the family area and the water front. Fourthly, it is a small space. Very very small space at the water front. I miss landmark. Fifth on this review, we had to pay a whopping N10,000/ adult to access the beach. That's after paying N2000 at the gate. This made me wonder if I shouldn't have just paid a fee for parking at the gate. Was I scammed? Who knows? No info anywhere. Is the mgt part of the scam?! Landmark beach which makes this place look like a slum didn't charge up to a quarter of 10k for all the goodness they offered. The last for this review, it is DIRTY and dangerous at the water front. All sorts of trash which included wood that had nails on them. What's a visit to the beach without being able to feel the water on your feet?! A lot needs to be done by the management. A good place to start is to go get lessons...

The beach current is very high. Beware!!! Don't swim. No divers or wave current lines. Gate fee #2000 Is a #PrivateBeach β›±οΈπŸ–οΈ. More entertaining on weekends Saturdays Sundays. Monday to Friday less visit to the beach. Good place for #Hangout for friends, lovers and family #qualitytime. Background music available. Horse 🐎 rides available Photographer 24/7 Foods & drinks available. Evening time the beach is nice for #DateNight Since is a private beach you need to pay for seats. If you are going alone apart from gate fee seat reservation are negotiable. Roughly #3000 -#5000 can give you access to the beach. Visitors friendly. One of the most visited #beach in #lagos. Located along Nike art center road #lekki. Not disabled accessible because of the private beach demarcation. On a special arrangement with the owner they'll help you lift up your β™Ώ. For the #depressed good time to access the beach is morning/ evening hours sunrise πŸŒ„πŸŒ… and sunset πŸŒ‡ so you can feel the nature. For fast healing. For visitors from #diaspora use Uber or Bolt app to access the beach and by the help of a #tourguide he/she can help you take your own photograph. #Hotel available around the beach. I will revisit again for more updates and new change. Follow me to see more travel destinations in Nigeria.

The atmosphere here was great. The beach itself is one of the most visited beach in Lagos. It's easily accessible as well. One of the kindest gift given to us by our creator, but too bad you have to pay before your entry. The Gate fee here is #1,000 although this fee needs to be scrapped as it is an illegitimate and illegal way of extortion of money from the public. The beach itself is lacking in infrastructures and maintenance. Millions of Nairas have been collected over the past years, but still yet money been collected has not been used to maintain and restore World class facilities to this beach. There is no presence of security life guards to help during emergency situation. There is no first aid medical center as well to assist should in case of emergency situation. !! Warning!! Please if you don't know how to swim don't go close to the water or even go near the shorelines for your own safety. When coming for a video or photoshoot Security here is not guaranteed so do well to provide yours as only yours can be more reliable in handling some difficult situations at times. Advise for Wheelchair users: You won't have a hard time as well getting close to the shores of the beach, but you want to be careful a little bit due to the sand that sink's in tires.
